Stay at Home Explained…
Stay at home – What it means to you, your employees and clients…
As of midnight April 3rd Florida stay at home order became active in an effort to “flatten the curve” in the spread of Covid-19. Generally speaking, the order places a limit on the travel of all Florida citizens to “only those necessary to obtain or provide essential services or conduct essential activities”. Florida Executive Order 20-91 addresses many of CDC Guidelines items for your business, employees, and clients, even though “essential services” vary depending on what state you are in.
The Governor’s Executive Order lists the following:
- Attending religious services conducted in churches, synagogues and houses of worship; and
- Participating in recreational activities (consistent with social distancing guidelines) such as walking, biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, running, or swimming; and
- Taking care of pets; and
- Caring for or otherwise assisting a loved one or friend.
